PURCHASING AGENT

Job Type: Full-time

Administer the purchasing of materials, components, secondary operations and equipment according to approved specifications (BOM’s) at the most favorable cost consistent with quality and availability. Advise vendors of desired delivery dates based on production needs. Follow-up with vendors to ensure deliveries are on schedule. Manage inventory levels, while maintaining high inventory turnaround. Provide support to sales and engineering to provide customer quotes in a timely, accurate manner. Maintain accuracy of item costs in systems. Provide production with delivery schedules. Duties require broad conceptual judgement. Must possess strong organizational, leadership and analytical skills to manage multiple projects efficiently. Excellent benefits.
